Musical Director
Mr Simon Loveless
B.A., B.Mus., L.Mus.A.

Simon joined the Casey Choir in February 2010, and has quickly settled as the new musical director. He also conducts the Da Capo Singers chamber choir; previously he has conducted the RMIT Choir, the Berwick Youth Choir Chamber Singers and was assistant musical director of Cranbourne Chorale.
In addition to his conducting activities, Simon is a sought-after accompanist, having served in this role or many of Melbourne's choirs including Melbourne Women's Choir, Australian Welsh Male Choir, Victorian Honor Choir and Yarra Ranges Children's Choir. He continues in this role with Berwick Youth Choir. Simon has also played for many theatrical and community music productions and has sung in several choirs, most recently the Melbourne Chamber Choir.
He serves the choral community as Victorian state secretary of the Australian National Choral Association.
Accompanist
Kerith Cummins, BMusAs an accompanist, Kerith has recorded for ABC-FM radio. She was also repetiteur at the Victorian College of the Arts Opera Studio for many years.
Kerith has played for many musical productions and has accompanied numerous singers and instrumentalists, both for exams and recitals. She joined the Casey Choir as accompanist in February 2012.
President
Mrs. Patricia Williams
Patricia (Trish) joined the choir
in February 2005 and became President in April
of the same year. She enjoyed
singing in a choir during her school years in Scotland and coming from
Robert Burns country enjoyed singing in the Burns Festival each year. Trish
worked for a singing telegram company during the 1980's and took a singing course at Berwick
TAFE in 2000.
Trish was chosen to
sing at the Citizen of the Year Award at the City of Casey Council chambers on
Australia Day 2008. Since becoming President Trish has achieved the
following for the Casey Choir: the acquisition of new performance costumes,
initiated the design of the Choir's website, and
the implementation of a fundraising plan for the support of the Choir.
She is grateful for the continuing support of her wonderful and hardworking
committee.
Future plans for the choir are to: attend the Advent festival in Prague,
produce their own CD and continue to entertain the community has a whole
whilst continuing to live our motto "Fun With Excellence".
